My name is Nick Wons, I’m a Toronto born and raised freelance photographer, and this is my website! Let me give you a really brief run down of who I am:

  • I’ve been capturing and creating photos for nearly 10 years.
  • I have been published in various local and international publications in both print and online.
  • I’m a card carrying Nikon Pro member
  • I have a cat named Ms. Whiskers.

I started out shooting events and have been an official photographer for many major ones over the years including Nuit Blanche, Digital Dreams, Toronto’s New Years Eve party and even destination weddings in the Caribbean. Although I’m known for my event photography, I’ve also worked with various brands and artists around the world to create portraits, fashion, and product photos for a wide variety of uses.

Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s my life.

Thanks for stopping by, check out my portfolio, and don’t hesitate to contact me about your photography needs!

Chasing The Gram: Ain’t nothin’ gonna break-a my stride

Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride, Nobody gonna slow me down, oh no, I got to keep on movin'! 💃💥💃💥💃 ______________ Had a fun afternoon on the east side of downtown with @416citizen yesterday. I'll be the first to admit that I haven't spent much time shooting there and I'm not sure why, but it turned into an awesome adventure and I got some fantastic shots for an assignment I'm working on. That's the thing about freelance life, there's no such thing as "weekends off", every day when I wake up I can choose if it's a Monday, Friday, or Sunday, and whatever I choose has it's own results both negative and positive. But I'm ok with that, because I'm doing what I'm passionate about. For bookings, prints or any other inquiries contact me via DM or visit my website at @nikoncanada
