Hello, I’m Toronto photographer Nick Wons, and welcome to my website.
Over the past 18 years, my camera has taken me into just about every environment imaginable: commercial ad campaigns, luxury brand activations, diplomatic galas, major corporate events, corporate headshots, and active development projects, plus nearly a decade capturing the Toronto International Film Festival directly for TIFF.
When I’m not on a commercial set or navigating a crowded gala, you’ll likely find me shooting street and cityscape photography around Toronto. Being an active, respected voice in that community isn’t just a passion project, it is a part of who I am, and what keeps my reflexes sharp. The ability to read unpredictable light, anticipate fleeting interactions, and capture unposed, authentic moments on the street is the exact same skill set I bring to my professional work, whether I’m a corporate event photographer at the Fairmont Royal York, or out on a construction site as a commercial industrial photographer creating visual assets for my clients.
Through it all, two things haven’t changed: my genuine love for the craft and the easygoing energy I bring to every set. I take the work seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously, so executives, talent, and everyday folks all feel relaxed and confident in front of my lens.
