Junglist Movement Boxing Day Special photos
Boxing day. For many in Toronto it’s a day for getting out and getting some shopping deals, for others it’s the travel back home from visiting family, and for Toronto’s Junglists it means Junglist Movement is throwing a party and you’d better be there!
With the usual suspects in the house it was nice to be back within the confines of the good ol El Mocambo. I know when word got out that the historic venue was slated to be scrapped there was a ton of outcry, and with good reason, this place has seen countless talented acts grace it’s stage over the years, and I know I’ve spent a good few years attending events there ( Breaksfest Sundays anybody?) as have so many others, so we all breathed a sigh of relief when word got around that this place had been saved and will be around to facilitate the creation of many more memories for years to come.
This annual boxing day event was certainly a night of heavy tunes, great vibes, friendly faces, and BASS. Shout out to the Dub Rock Sound System for keeping the place bumping all night long. Shout out to all those who were there, see you out on the dancefloor in 2015, it’s going to be a MASSIVE year.
